This article discusses the growing importance of learning foreign languages in the context of modern scientific and technological development worldwide and, in particular, in our country. It examines specific approaches and specialized methods of foreign language teaching, their theoretical foundations, as well as the scientific research conducted in this field. Special attention is given to the formation of art-related terminology among students learning French as a foreign language through various interactive methods and online technologies, as well as to the priority directions for developing writing skills.
