HOMONYMS, THEIR TYPES AND SOURCES

Usually, words are grouped into different groups as a result of their pronunciation, writing, and comparisons. Words that express different meanings in the same words or in spelling are called 'homonyms' (Greek homog - "same", onyma - "name"). Language changes, spelling rules, and semantic shifts will be an important source for the origin of the homonyms. The meanings of the survivors are defined in the context of the speech.
