IMPROVING THE METHOD OF SYNTHESIS OF CHLORACETYLPYROCATECHOL

In the article the reaction of chloroacetylation of pyrocatechol in the presence of catalytic amounts of Lewis acids is described. The factors affecting the course of the reaction of chloroacetylation of pyrocatechol are investigated.
